wonder if it's worth the $8000. Anyone have experience with it?

If you run a older Deere head in real dry corn it is needed especially in the center four rows on a 8 or 12 row head. The feeder house front drum is so much higher than the head floor that the auger just can't push the crop up into the feederhouse. The fluffy leaves and stalks will bridge and keep building until it starts pushing the standing corn over.
