Re: Rock Dam

Yes, and it did, 18000 dollars later its ready for the field. So im not taking this subject lightly and need real hard evidence, We use only bat reels in standing crops, no beans only barley and wheat, I guess I would figure that feeding wouldnt be a problem since having the bar in front would be a place to flick the grain in over with the reel, the main thing is I need to push the rocks not eat them, stone trap or not I dont want to rely on that because it doesnt always work once the dirt accumulates over a few days, if the feeder house survives, which in most cases you bend slats too.
ANyone else have anyother thoughts?

Re: Rock Dam

a rock dam might work well in your situation, I would consider rolling after seeding it would make for a worry free harvest.

Re: Rock Dam

Customer doesnt care about my rock troubles, in other words they wont be spending any other dollars on field prep other than drilling.
