Agrimatics Libra Cart

I bought this system last winter and I'm in the process of getting it going. the apps for this product are originally produced for Apple products and apps are developed later for android tablets. I really do not like Apple products and recently bought a android tablet to run this system. After talking to a Agrematic tech recently I am starting to rethink my android purchase and suck it up and buy as Apple I pad. For those that are already run this system what are your suggestions on how to set up this system and keep it running?

They work flawless on apple products. On my iphone or the ipad that is left in the tractor. It takes a little to setup your fields ect. but the system is frankly awesome once you have it. One of the best buy's on the farm right now. An base Ipad mini is pretty reasonable cost wise and just works.

As to android a couple of my guys have them and one can't connect at all and the other one seems to have issues as well that they can't seem to get to the bottom of.

So, all the fields can be set up before harvest? Thanks for the advice on the android products, will probably head to Costco tomorrow to buy A I Pad. Will have to buy a I Pad book for dummies to get going.

So if your scale is calibrated already, do you have to recalibrate again once you install this system?

I'm not here to tip toe through the rose garden, I'm here to bulldoze through the bullshit.

From what I have heard, according to Agrimatics if your scale is already calibrated you can enter that cal # in the libre cart, correct me if I have heard wrong.

Yes do a calibration. I suppose if you know your old scale is bang on you could use it to calibrate Libra. Hook up Libra and select your load cells then zero out. Then hook up your old scale and zero out then load up. Record what your old scale reads as the loaded weight. Hook up Libra and compare what it reads and then follow the instructions to enter in the actual weight from your old scale compared to what it reads to get your cal factor.

Maybe some brands of scales the cal will cross over some how but ours didn't.

Has Agrimatics got any better to use with Android? Or should a guy buy a iPad?

Asked and answered.

Has anyone done anything to increase range between cart and combine?
Anyone come up with automatic cart recognition?

They started with Apple, probably 3 or 4 years ago now saying, yeah, we’ll come up with something for the others, someday.
Not much commitment though.
