Bob bean combines?

We are looking for a pull type combine for doing windrows of Navy beans. Has anyone had any experience with a Bob Combine? Would like to get another Axial flow, but 1460's are getting pretty old and worn in our area and good ones are expensive.

Re: Bob bean combines?

have a used one in shed ,would probably sell, parked for 4 years, leaves a lot of beans in the field, but does a high quality job. also have a 1660 modified for edible beans, with a bucket elevator. how much is pretty expensive? i think bob went out of business, but there are places to get parts and a lot of them are jd.

If I was you I would get away from pulling beans go to clipping. Less time in field, less fuel burnt, less dirt in sample, Yield is about the same. You gave some good advice to me, you should stick with what you know.
