To see behind him!! lol.

One is to see traffic, one to see the row and one to see when he is dumping.Or something like that. And one is to see in the basket.
When driving something that big you just can't have too many mirrors. because you sure can't see thru it or around it.


Picked our first 60 acres of cotton ever yesterday. Normally have it all stripped.

Interesting. Because I would figure that it would be prety much like trying todrive a combine, and they don't have that many mirrors.

One is for looking behind you, one is for looking into the basket to see how full to see if you need to run the compactor augers. The other is to see how good of a job you are doing. The cotton has to pass thru a plant lifter that is about 1 to 1.5" wide. A rock or a weed can hang there and you can't tell without looking behind you. We ofen joke that if the sun hits all those mirrors just right we would be incinerated.
