Doesn’t make sense to me. They are an awesome tractor and no electronic crap, but it’s still 18yrs old. Was not much more than $100,000 new.

doubt it has 1000 original hours?
how could you keep the hours that low?
I'm 100% sure almost it had paint job and ran around the clock, there's some talented tractor jockies and you can easily throw a new ecm in there

Especially for that size of tractor (there was some similar aged magnums go for insane prices last year too...). that is basically an auger / baler / land roller tractor on most farms. only takes 2 at an auction sale.

still wondering where all the $ is coming from last 2 years.....

A guy I went to college with sell equipment for JD. He deals with either a dairy or chicken farm that buys a tractor every 10 years specifically for there back up generator. Sits in a shed, plugged in and only runs when the power is out. Might have 150 hours when they trade it. I'd think it would be more cost effective to have a diesel generator, but its not my money.

Statistics are like a Bikini. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal, is vital.

I wonder if people ever feel embarrassed after they over pay so much on something?

It's easy enough to be pleasant, when life goes by like a song. But the man worth while, is the man with a smile, when everything goes dead wrong!
