Cat 55 and NH 8970 headlights

Would anyone know, does a Cat 55 challenger have the same headlights (so lens, reflectors, shape, not the globe) in the bonnet as a New Holland 8970,8770 FWA tractor? I have a cat 55 which I’ve upgraded all the lights to Hella LED lights but the headlights in the bonnet are stuffed. Lens is cloudy reflector rusty. Can get replacement led lights for a NH 8970 tractor but unsure if they’ll fit in cat bonnet. Thought there’d be a chance since the 2 tractors share some cab components, back end etc.

Should be the same.

They look the same. They are $700 so don’t want to wing it. I emailed the fella selling them and he was a bit unsure. I’ll do some more research.

Most of those components cross over, all the challenger is is a genesis on tracks with a cat motor.

Going by the Larsen led replacement fittings they're not the same, only lists the genesis and buhler units as being compatible cat 55 kit only has cab lights in it

The reflector buckets are the same as NH Genesis tractors of the same era; only the clear lenses are different. The lenses are bonded into a channel all around the reflector, so swapping either is nearly impossible. However, the entire lamp assemblies are still in production use on AGCO TerraGators, so the price might be better through the AGCO parts system.
