We can all be critics can't we....we need to open our eyes a little more to what some people have to deal with in terms of space and or money or both.
This was well put Coolio. Not all of us are 5th generation, or fresh European immigrant with loads of money or have Daddy’s quota money to spend. We have to make do with what we can afford. And if I’ve learned anything from farming it is that things keep changing so the fancy setups being built right now will be a joke in 20 years as well.

My dryer set up is small by comparison. GSI 1112 with 2 1805 wet bins. One has a meridian auger feeding the dryer all the time. The other bin has a Farm king utility auger that feeds a combine unloader tube sloped into the hopper of the meridian. 10,000 wet storage. I have 3 1805 dry storage for 15000 bu. I have a Westfield with sideways wheel kit feeding dry bins. Far from huge but has saved my asss last 2 yrs. Lots of emptying dry bins but used the grain cart to fill bags due to lack of storage with high barley acres. The dryer is in a seperate bin yard with only 200 amp service but can run the dryer and 2 aeration fans and the electric augers without tripping breakers. This was my option 2 yrs ago as my home yard has 200 amp service running 2 houses and a workshop. Sask power needed a yr to install a bigger box so went this route. Someday I will move dryer home to a permanent spot. I will concentrate on wet storage more and hope to use a blower to fill all my other bins and no semicircle. Snow removal is nothing with a snow blower so not a reason why I would stop from having a semi circle. Space is a bigger concern.
