opinion on brandt 16x105 HP augers.

Hello, we are looking for another higher capacity auger. We currently have a 1385FK (which we hardly use anymore because its to slow) And a 1390HP brandt that we have had about 4 years now. We love the HP brandt and it puts the 13"farm king to shame. I have my eyes on some used 1 and 2 year old 16105 hp's......Price is pretty good on them but i have to drag it home about 600 miles (its up in canada and im in central ND.) Wondering if anyone has good or bad experiences with the 16105? I have heard from a few people around here that they move grain like crazy but take hp. Brand lists them at 23,000 an hour? Was also considering a 16014 Farm king, but in my experience farm king is a poorly made auger.....they are noisy, flighting doesn't seem to run "true" in the auger, and the 13" definitely doesn't keep up with the hp Brandt. Ive been around a few FK's and they all bang and clatter when they are running the 3 brandts ive been around you cant hardy tell are running when they are full of grain......not sure if thats because the "flighting is actually more full" with the hp or its just better made and straighter tube/flighting. Any info one way or the other would be appreciated.

I like the Brandt augers, have a few of them. They are well built augers in my opinion.

Last Brandt I purchased was the 13110 hp with Rodono. I actually run it with a 125 hp tractor. The HP requirements are at max lift, so you can usually get away with less.

Did not go with the 16" as I thought they were too bulky and I did not have a tractor big enough at the time to pull it.

Can unload a harvest loaded super b in 16 minutes clutch to clutch with the 13110hp, not sure if the 16" would have saved me much time, but iv'e also never run one.
