The sheep in the 50 - 80 pound range, are they going to a feedlot, or slaughtered?
Here, anything under 80 will go to a feedlot.

Is that prices considered good? Here it would be like a jackpot.

Nou wat nou?

I sold crossbred lambs at auction this week average weight liveweight 54 kg (119 lb) for $ 204/head which roughly equates to $ 7.55/ kg over the hooks. Also sent lambs to Coles ( supermarket chain ) for contracted price of$ 8.30 over the hooks

Thats another good question, im not sure. Never heard of lamb feedlots in eastern ontario but there very well could be. That price is very decent, but if you check back on that calendar early april this year, it was more like 3.70$/lb then!
