Mystery parts identification

Hello! Here are some mystery parts that were found in the creek and surrounding area of our farm. I would love any help in identifying them. Have fun!

All kidding aside, I would imagine the farmer that used those has likely long since died. The cog part and the half round piece with the notches looks somewhat familiar to an old piece of equipment I remember seeing as a kid in the pasture. I will see if I can find it and take a look. It was on a horse drawn planter of some kind with 2 small boxes and a couple levers coming up that must have lifted it somehow and the cog would lock it up. Just reminded me of that thing as soon as I seen it, but not saying for sure.

I thought it was a Class too but now I'm not sure lol.
I am thinking most of this would be from late horse drawn, early engine powered days.
