Re: Crop Prices

Thats very PATHETIC!!!! You would think that with the rising cost of everything every year, the prices will at least follow to offset increasing input costs. I am looking forward to the day the farmers worldwide CONTROL market prices, not the buyer.......

Re: Crop Prices

As long as the cattle prices are high, grain prices will be low. And seeing as how Japan has lifted the ban on American beef, the grain prices aren't gonna rise anytime soon unless all that grain in the midwest gets used up.

Re: Crop Prices

It's all about supply and demand. And farmers being there own worst enemies.. Land rent is the biggest one, another one is forward contracting.. How many ppl will do that ? I know alot of farmers around me wont pre sell any of their crop until it's in the bin and in this day and age it's usually too late.
