Is there $1.40 to $2.00 per bu off this price for transport and elevating charge or is this net the pocket?

That is the contract price that Elders are offering for the day. Usually APW grade for wheat and usually port price.

The barley quoted price - is that per imperial/avery bushel or hundred weight? I know a lot of times in the US they quote per 100 pound weight and not per bushel. To me, the price would make more sense that way in this case unless it was some kind of a malt barley price. Generally Barley trades for 2/3 or less the value of wheat by weight.

Not sure if this will open, copied using iPad grrr. All these prices are cash price nett...less levy and PBR.

F1 is feed barley high grade..the F2 F3 etc.
Malt barley usually has an abbreviation I.e GA for gairdner variety.
H1 wheat is 13.5 % protein and above

Pretty straight forward...the closer you get to port the better the price. You will see Portalnd mentioned where I live.

Ant...

Wow! Blanch farm, that's better than prime hard prices down here. Did any guys up your way get a sorghum crop in? Any rain at all? Just wondering what to do with barley I have stored on farm, if it stays dry I think there is only one way it can go price wise. Good for me not so for the guys trying to buy it to feed drought stock though!
