The real kicker is that the fuel is refined in Canada and shipped via tanker to North Dakota! Now looking at whether they will drop-ship directly to me but I bet there is something in the rules that prevents this and protects the Canadian petroleum system...
Yeppers the tankers pick up at FCL in Regina everyday and it is quite a few per day and haul to North Dakota.
Yeah haul all the way across the border then back and still cheaper.
No crookedness at all in the Canadian system!!!
Pretty sure it has to cross the border no direct ship.

Anyone have some wisdom on where fuel prices are heading through the summer? I feel like we are getting bent over pretty good right now but who knows with all the sabre rattling going on in the middle east again. I know oil pricing really has nothing to do with fuel pricing except when oil goes up.

Maybe a guy shouldn't over-think such a minor input but I have the flexibility to wait until July if necessary. I have had decent luck filling in July before, not sure if that is a fluke or ???

In the mid to high 90 cent/liter range now, nothing special. Was told it usually softens a bit mid summer, so probably take a chance and wait.

It should, BUT:

Crude has been inching up.

Tensions with Iran.
