Hay Mark. Ok I just thought that might be you. Yeah we had some very good yields as well. We now know that 70 bpa canola is possible. We had a few fields that did mid to high 60s and had one 160 ac field that did over 70. So its one for the record book for us. Sorry to hear about your combine problems. So what kind of issues did you have? We bought a 9770 on a RB auction this summer it had some minor problems but nothing major. That's why I agree with my partner to drive green cuz we have a good JD dealer here. ( I prefer red) Getting service for my quad trac is getting to be a real problem. It's 2 years old now and I really like it but I'm not sure how l will be able to drive it with that kinda service. So are you considering getting a few 9230s?

Hey Joe that's not us, I'm north of Debolt, right in between valleyview and Grande Prairie. How did your harvest go? We had some good yields, lots of combine issues though.

Im from Brandon MB, along ways south from you haha. Its neat how that far north it can still get so warm. Is there much agriculture in that area? Or further north? Is there much for work in your area? What are the yields like in that area? Here we are just far enough south that corn and soybeans are really starting to become a larger percentage in the rotation.

Hey, I was amazed when I seen how far north you are. What are the crops and growing season like up there? Hope you have a good winter its been cold down here. How far north are you from Grande Prairie? Have friends that live there and been up there a time or two.

    Thanks Kevin

Hey Joe we have run the 480's and this was our fifth season on the 590's. In the winter we pretty much dismantle them and fix whatever is needed. We do all of our own maintenance and it isn't to bad to do. Fosters is great to deal with, they always have alot of parts on hand and go out of their way to get them to you. I think they are a little short on mechanics though, but they are trying to hire 3 more from the sounds of it. The machines are very easy to set and have alot of capacity. When we demoed them we had a 9870 out And from what we figured we would have needed 4 deeres to maybe keep up to three 590's. Overall very happy with them. Any more questions feel free to ask

Hay mark we treated all of our wheat so we didn't have any test strips. We also treated all of our canola. Last year we had test strips and we think the treated did better then the untreated. About 5-7 bushels / ac more.

Hey Joe I noticed in an earlier post this year that you were going to treat all of your wheat with ASN from Alpine? I have been thinking of trying some. Did you do some test plots with it and did you see some benefits from it? If you have any good/ bad things to say I would appreciate hearing about them.
