You can buy a better design from red e

www.gorede.com

Along with a bunch of good upgrades to the drill bushings.

Could try keeping a look out on bisman online and BigIron auctions. Can faintly remember seeing some there once. Need ham ag would be a possibility too. Smart guy is Phil and very willing to spend the time to talk. I have seedlock on my Deere. They make a huge difference at keeping the seed down in the slot where the moisture is.

Needham ag sells the firming wheel same price as case junk. Case non repair able. Needham ag replacement bearing same as the others on the operner. You will need your own hardware with the Needham ag wheels. I used one single shim that is used to adjust the depth wheel away from the blade and my own bolts to install the Needham forming wheel.

Ive ran the seed firming wheels for close to 15 years now been over thousand upon thousands of acrea. The stock setup uses spring steel bushings. The eventually wear allow to much dust in there and they freeze up. I cut all my shaft out of the closing arm and seed firming arm and welded chrome shaft in and use poly Bush and single lip seals. Lots of work and found Red E after I had already bought the chrome shaft. Do I would of absolutely gone his route. What ever your gonna find taken off will likely have alot of wear and no bushings. Your gonna be better off in my opinion using the red e stuff. It also has adjustable down press on that wheel unlike the factory setup

Need any pics of anything I have all kinds of parts took apart off the openers.
