With TeamViewer, you can control the computer in the tractor with either another PC or with the smartphone. Works good, even the openGL display shows up nicely. Free for non commercial use.

Voila, remote control

It might have been mentioned in the thread but can you throw a boundary file at it and it comes up with outside round guidance and an inside boundary so you could do the headlands last?

Further could it ask you what side you would like to align your infills too with the option of a least overlap straight option or a a+?

Because that would be the ****.

Once you have a boundary you can make a headland either by drawing it in manually, or by setting how eq widths to the tenth of a width in from boundary. AgOpen will generate the contour path from the boundary, so it's made for you. Do the inside of the headland with full autoturn/eq control, then do the headland with contour lines provided by the boundary. Boundary can also be made in google earth, so technically its ready to start operation without even going around the field.

Yes, called curve AB, with also the option to smooth them to your liking. That's a lot harder to do autonomously, but not impossible. Got about 2500 acres on it now, some changes yet, but certainly the bones are there. Its almost annoying to get back into a "regular" tractor.

Because that would be the ****.

It is the ****. Have a funky field where the long edge is "crooked" so made an AB Curve and smoothed it so it was almost like an AB Line. That's a great option and since each is generated from the reference, there isn't the contour issue.

Not sure what you mean by infill, of the headland?

Got to try autosteer for real today on my hagie sprayer. Besides a few pid tweaks it worked great. The field I tried it on is a old pasture full of badger holes and a few good slopes. The only thing that would be nice is a way to smooth out the heading slightly. When you hit a bad rough spot it swings the heading pretty bad causing some slight oscillations, but the autosteer did correct well. Unfortunately I didn't get to use u turn. Something went wrong doing the headland pass and the record window went full screen and I forgot to turn on the booms in aog since I was still doing it manually anyhow. Not a big deal though and probably my fault(or norton antivirus garbage).
Now to fit a spring and work switch, it would have been nice not to have to keep the pressure on the drill manually as it sort of defeats the purpose lol.
One last thing. I have not tried personally, but know a few others who have the same sprayer and trimble ez steer. It would not work well or at all so you obviously have done something right that AOG can run it in pretty much the worst possible field conditions.

It doesn't need an internet connection, only a local network connection. A high powered antenna goes pretty far. You can also create a cellular network - I think that is what ww is using. For me its really only getting it going, clicking start remotely, since once it's done the headland, and run out of land, it should Dubins back to the start and stop/park. If it faults, errors etc, Dubins back home and park.

WW, what are you using for TeamViewer to connect sprayer to seeder?
