Are you talking about the Trimble unit you bought?

No, I was referring to the rtk GPS receiver that is shown in the aog wiki. (The page is in the link I posted last)

Just FYI, I learned today that the uBlox ANN-MB antennas that go good with the F9P require a ground plane. I needed to do some surveying and the Reach RS+ was just not working, so I jury rigged up one of my F9P boards on my laptop over usb with some Linux scripting duct tape and was very frustrated trying to get an RTK fix util I figured that out. Used a small piece of metal and suddenly it was working very well.

I've been happy with the Antennas. I've planted 100 acres with them this spring across about 10 small fields (biggest field is 20 acres, smallest is 1.5) that have treelines or woods at the boundaries with no issues. Very few times does it drop to RTK Float. In comparison, the emlid reach would be in float about 40% of the time.

The C099 kit comes with a small ground plane disk as part of the kit. It's about a 100 cm diameter small piece of metal. The antennas have a magnet in them. I actually use a 6" stainless cover plate as my ground plane:
