One thing perplexes me...the asx f1 price a few months back was $202 per tonne...now the physical price has dropped by more than $30 a tonne...but asx price still $187 a tonne...as its all electronic they will know exactly how much they are going to loose...are they keeping this figure up now?...who controls the asx future price..is it linked to chicago...does chicago have an f1 grade...is it based off a ratio to corn...etc...

And has the asx wheat price gone up...i dont have price tracking..is there an app for this??

Given that beef and lamb is trading high, this usually drags up the price for chicken and pork, as they are nearly 100% grain dependent they should be having good times as well...

Cattle feed lotters - even though paying a higher price its still less dollars to fatten each kg of beef - they should be winning...

Dairy - probably to early to tell - but like grain growers - a weaker dollar is needed...

Egg producers - they will be happier as well i imagine...

Hay market might be interesting this year...not sure i will harvest spring barley or bale?

Wonder if china will go on a buying spree like they did with sorghum a couple years back.

Hmmm, the price in the UK is comparable to ours, which they say is low, and we are at all time high...so more profit in beef in AUS at the moment...I think beef have been trading at some pretty silly prices in US so when they say collapsing - it would be better to look at a chart for last 10 years and see where they are really at? when ours goes back to $3.00 they will say its collapsed but it traded at $1.70-$2.40 for as long as i can remember...

STO have you heard any malt price...GA1 is $160 at Edenhope - so port maybe $190 ish...pretty ordinary....
