World wheat prices

Is there a place that posts world wheat prices with dollar value figured in.

Had a post some where comparing grain prices and thought the US was half much of the world on wheat prices till thought about it more. Dollar value is a big factor.

Maybe we can post some wheat prices here with what dollar value is used. Metric ton, bushel, ton, pound, ect, used is important also. Type of wheat, Hard Red Spring, Hard Red Winter, Soft White, Dark Northern Spring.... Then there is those Canadian types

What ever posted, something is better then nothing for wheat prices.

For a farming forum we sure are lacking in product pricing, which is surprising, it is why we farm, Lol. i see some real good prices by spring if anything with the dryness are around the world. It should all be converted to one currency for a comparator though. But why are we not doing this already! With all this electronicating, (my wife submitted this word to oxford, as a word to describe communication by electronic devices, they never got back, LOL) social media should be empowering us farmers, from parts to products.

Nearby #1 13.5 protein HRS or DNS is what you refer to it as is about $7/bushel Canadian on Friday give or take. That is about $5.36 USD which is pretty similar to an elevator I follow in ND: CenDak Co-op

Basis is quite poor lately.

I asked I better give.
EGT in Chester is were I sell most my grain.

Dark Northern Spring 14% is at $5.88 with +2 per 1/4% up to 15% and -4 per 1/4% down on protein.

Hard Red Winter 11.5% is $5.60 with +3 per 1/2% up to 12.5% and -5 per 1/2% on protein

All in US doll hairs.

5.88us=7.68Can=8.04Aus
5.6US=7.31Can=7.66Aus

Is there any crop to make bank this year? I have peas and chickpeas also. They are not so good on the cash markets either. Wheat is looking to be my most profitable crop this year.

In the last couple of weeks we have been offered up to $7.90/bu Cdn for #1 or #2 13.5% protein. That was the high but has backed off some now

The powers that be simply don't like us shopping around or knowing world prices, prices on the coast, or what the consumer pays.

With all the electronicating technology available to us, you'd think you can just look at one website with all the prices of the nearby elevators you select to put on a list.. and compare away!
But no, they make you have accounts, required to log on, making price checking more difficult to do, or impossible for a bot program.
Not including all the smoke and mirrors when trying to get an answer for what the bids are at the coast, so we can get an idea of demand, yet elevators are privy to that information.

We are simply expected to pre-sell the whole crop for September delivery, then when September does come around, we are told to hold the crop in our bins at our cost, until elevators are ready to accept/ship those September contracts months later.

That kinda sounds like what we had with the old CWB, except back then they didn't have to move the entire crop if they didn't want to, and they could change the price for 1.5 years...

There is enough grain companies posting prices and texting prices, but not all of them. Two notable ones are Paterson Grain and Richardson Pioneer, which happen to be the two locally here. They will text but if someone has a link to online prices I would appreciate it.

Thinking this year to just bin it and then put targets in and let them come get it. There might just be some upside in this particular market.
