The concaves are simple to swap so get yourself a set of wide spaced concaves and at least 4 narrow spaced concaves. the front 3 alot of times can be blanked off. If growing canola you might want to run with a full set of narrow as you don't need blanks. When threshing keep your concave as wide as possible it reduces material break up. If saving the straw for baling remove atleast 3 knives maybe 6. As for after market we always ran with original MF concaves. Another thing make sure your concave is zeroed out and parallel to the rotor.
