The feeder coasts to a stop so that noise when you shut it off is strange

Is the chain tensioned?
The 10’s were really good for long lasting splines so I doubt it’s that

A bent slat would be constantly noisey.......

Maybe you better dump the oil on the bottom and top gearboxes and if that’s okay, look closely at the Unis on the big pto shaft
