Thank you.
I was actually hoping you’d say no, I do not.
My glimmer of hope for your friend reduced.

There should always be hope until concrete evidence proves otherwise, I hope all works out for you no matter how grim it appears. Is there any reason you could think of that would make him want to disappear?

Zeeke did not have an enemy in the world. Owed zero dollars to anyone, ever. No drug habits. Very quiet guy, maybe closer to reclusive than quiet. Very very rarely went out socially. Not anti-social, just kept to himself. Always said "thanks for stopping by, drop in anytime" whenever I popped in for a visit. Well mannered guy. I have been friend with him since we were 13 and I am pretty sure he has never been in a fight. No known history of mental health issues. Just a good guy who was pleasant to be around.

This collection of facts make it tough to understand what could have happened.

Is there a vehicle missing along with him, I don't see it mentioned in the short police public notice.

Thanks Don, I missed that one. I find that extremely odd, rarely would anyone leave a vehicle unlocked and the keys inside when driving around town on errands unless one is at the vehicle loading/unloading items and so forth.

You just described my friend's son to a "t", who went missing about 6 or 7 years ago but surfaced 2 years afterwards. He was a bit of an introvert, though not totally shy, could hold his end of a conversation very well and, much like your friend, was EVERYBODY'S friend. He was 27 when he staged his disappearance, bought a new wallet and left his "old" one with a few bucks in it behind, along with some of his ID. Would not and will not reveal much else. His explanation was that he was just tired of his life, that's all. Mental illness can be a bit of a social chameleon, and we learned that the hard way. Try to keep the faith; - what else can anyone say?

Crazy deal. Sorry for your situation lander and to Zeeke and his family. Gotta suck something awful to go through something like this.

Thanks again to everyone for keeping this in their thoughts. I was just up at his mom's place, vehicles were home but horses were not. Understandable to be out in the saddle now. No new news that I have been made aware of.

I spent over a decade working mental health/social services, mostly on a very unique "infront of the front line" program and have seen enough strange things to not have lost hope completely.
