One of mine popped at 450hrs and this machine had not done any roadwork, high respected Aus technician witnessed it all. Lost gear case pressure at first, could not solve myself so called on the tech. He tested all pressures and diagnosed as a faulty sensor as it was only 2psi below threshold. Spaced and fixed the low pressure warning, went for a test drive 20 minutes later she locked up. We removed the drive face plate 2 bolts had worked lose and gone through the system. Changed out the drive and up and running again within 15hours. Spoke to the tech again at the end of harvest, he worked on 5 others, all the same.

Never had a failure on ours, we have had prodrive since 2008. Our farm is 30miles end to end, lots of road time.

It's all good if your lucky enough to be covered by warranty and your on your way back to the shed when it fails but it just [email protected]!/ me when things are out of warranty and it's a common failure and they tell you your on your own, mean while your having to hire other machines or giving away work. The worst thing about the Ag industry is it all has to be done yesterday so we don't have time for the fix when fails crap, if your product has a fault don't keep it a secrete get some preventative maintinence procedures in place so it's not a freaking surprise for the guy who staked his lively hood on your product, that goes for all manufactures not just Deere. A mates 9870 just **** the water pump looks like a new motor, I started investigating it seems to be very common so at 2000 hrs replace your water pump on Deere machines easy fix instead of replace the motor at 2300hrs
lostcause likes this.

I have never every heard of a John Deere Pro Drive break, ever. They are 100% reliable 100% of the time. Its the red guys that are making this up.

How is that Don? Thought I would give you your FJ fix for the day. Lol

Can anyone tell me how I can put up a picture so I can shed some more light on the issue.

whilst we do a bit of road travel all the issues we had were really on the first farm they worked at

Anyone can start a poll and I'm not sure how you want to ask or structure so go ahead.

Really bugs me when people make excuses for stuff....

You called that one Don, although he is VERY predictable.

FJ don't you trust other people to answer the JD questions? Maybe some of us want to know when people are having issues so we can avoid it ourselves.
