9860 grain loss monitor tricks?
Can you watch engine rpm like an old conventional walker machine?
If so, how far do you pull it down?
Seems like it pulls down easier on rpm than my 9610, but sure doesn't feel like it's loaded up.
Any other tricks besides the actual yield loss monitors?
No. You’d be a very brave person to just push to the alarm then back off slightly.
There will be grain everywhere. You have to drive by the losses, usually sieves. Depending on what crop your doing.
If that motor is dieing down there’s something wrong with the fuel filters or charge air pressure, etc. it’s a always a very strong engine.
Thanks for the reply.
Took a few days of getting to used to it, but appears the tach trick works as good as it does for the old walker machines.
