Thumbs up John Deere 9670 Lateral Tilt

Hi, First time posting on the forum. I need some advise. Looking to buy a 2nd hand JD 9670 with a JD 625F header. The Combine does not have lateral tilt. Would the Flex heads' auto height adjustment work on the combine without lateral tilt? And if it does not work, what do I need for it to work?

Auto Height will work just fine. On the 6-7-900 platforms, the height sensor is one sensor on the far right end of the header, connected to the crossrod that feels the whole cutterbar. Then there is optional lateral tilt sensord connected to far outer end skids. Height works fine without lateral tilt. The headers can have the lateral tilt sensors, which the levelland combine will ignore.

Yup the height sensing will work, we used to run 9760's without lateral tilt and 936 flex heads. It works better though with lateral tilt in flex mode, less skid plate wear. But you will be fine.
