Need help identifying part

Hello. I found the attached “part” on ground not too far from our JD 9760 and S660 combines. It appears a bolt goes through the center part, and the orange part is a hard rubber. Any suggestions on what it is and where it came from?

I believe it’s one of the valve cover bolts on the engine

I’m guessing it will be a mounting bushing for a gearbox of some kind up whether it’s up on main drives off engine or down on your feeder house drive? That’s my 2cents.

x2 , the 12.5L engine has 3 inserts that look like that in the valve cover. A capscrew goes through into the head to hold it all on.

Valve cover hold down? Figure out what it is? Where is came from? Why it was on the ground? We would like a story. That is why we read these things.

Unless you are really cheap like me and lose a left one or get a hole in it, then you replace it with a good right hand glove but turn it over. So in this case it could possibly be a glove, left hand!
