    Alberta Pioneer,

I built it. I designed it, bought all the parts, cut all the metal, then took a pile of the metal parts to the Hutterites next door and they welded it for me. I have a pile of pictures during the building. It works real well. I need to replace the hinges for the folding booms....they are pretty cheap and flimsy. they are just a door hinge. If you want you can email me at [email protected] and I can send you pics and some of my comments

    Hi AP.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Last week I sliced my hand while measuring up the unload auger on a combine we're reflighting. Went through the new leather glove and needed eight stitches in my palm. Never got any tendons at least. Made typing on the phone a bugger. Never thought I'd be complaining about that. Just about good as new now.

What are you looking to do? I've usually got a fair bit to do in the shop. Probably not enough for full time. Not sure where from Warburg you're at but I'm ~25 min from the Genesse bridge.

He actually sold it this past summer. It was very nice shape hadn't done much work. I think he still has the pull type balewagon for sale but sold the haybine, rake and stuff like that too last summer on Kijiji. Located south of Spruce Grove

We actually lost most of our snow in January, water was running in a draw across one field 6 inches deep one day I was hauling in some hay. Hit about -37C nite before last. I stay home when it's this cold and only thing I need to have running sleeps in a warm shop, lol.
Take care, I'll catch you later on, time to go do some chores.

I don't know the 8575 but I'm sure it's the same as the 4900 and 4910 and Case's equivalents use tractor hydraulics continuous pressure to adjust bale the chamber. The bale chamber is electronically monitored through load sensors in the plunger connecting rods. There is a special plug in the control valve that must be used with tractors with open or closed center hydraulics, your John Deere will use the closed center plug. Very little flow is required, 2000 psi is lots. then there is the pickup raise/lower circuit of course. I just remembered, they also had a knotter fan that was tied into the bale chamber circuit, ours were disabled when I started working with them, they said they were hard on Case hydraulic systems, my thought is they just didn't have them tuned correctly. I removed the fans all together, the knotters work fine without them. The connecting rods for the 49XXs are very expensive ($1400 each), I replaced one this year, the baler will work with one bad connecting rod.

And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise, and said "I need a caretaker." So God made a farmer.
