RIP Dallas Miller

A local young man (29 years old ) was layed to rest today . One of the nicest most unselfish people anyone should be lucky to have known . I have known the family and most importantly his parents for most of my adult life and count them as some of my best friends . He is of mennonite heritage and followed that belief . He died saving a young child who had drifted from a boat in very windy conditions . His funeral today was a testimony to his status as a son husband and father . He left behind two young children and a young wife . My wife and I attended a ceremony last night ( 500-600) to avoid the huge crowds that were expected about 1000 today .
