Where i work we get hired in to do lots of wrapped stuff. Its generally cut today, raked baled tomorrow in our weather (Eastern Ontario).
This year is a new go with tube wrapping, was individual bales. One problem locally is the recycle/land fill here will not take the plastic, but the paid trash bin guys don't care.
We ran a JD 459 Silage special that was just traded at ~23k bales (roughly 2 years work) as it was getting to have issues with wrapping bales right and on the tired side. It was replaced with a new JD 450M Silage about 2 weeks ago and it seems to eat whatever you feed it (1200 bales so far).
The tube wrapper will also do 5' square bales as some fella's prefer them. the larger wrappers will also do 2 stacked
Tubeline 5500AX2 with the remote for in the tractor so steering can be adjusted on the go. Will also start/stop the engine and start/stop the feed.
Drive lots of little things, one day i will get to play with big toys.
