I did finally get to run the baler myself a few weeks ago. When I held the hydraulic lever for a few more seconds after it closed I did not have any problems. I think what was happening when my guys pulled the hydraulic lever back to neutral they were going just over neutral which would reopen it slightly. I have a large electronic control on top of the lever for my suspended boom sprayer which makes it easy to pull the lever past center when going back to neutral. If a guy goes slightly past center you would let the hydraulic pressure off.

I will be selling this baler this spring. It is a JD 567 with a mega wide pickup and net wrap with around 16,000 bales on it. It is in good shape and I will let it go for $16,500.
