Haukaas (Riteway) bale mover

Anyone used one for a while, I bought one last fall to use this summer and want to make sure my bales will fit before making them. I do 5x6 full size, and have read that large diameter bales can be too tight a squeeze to fit in the mover chambers. What is the ideal bale diameter setting for this unit?

I have used one for a few years. Too small is a pain in the butt too as the bale will turn sideways and get stuck in the opening. Too big and the bale doesn't fit if the twine or net loosens up. I make 64" to 68" bales and seems to work best. If you make full 6' bales I would stack them right away because if they sit and get flat on the bottom they will be harder to load.

Thank you. I hope to pick up right away but you know how plans go. Maybe I will try the first field at 70 and see how it goes. Have baler set at 71 now and by the time the bale alarm goes off and I roll to a stop the bales always end up 73-74.
