powered air reel

Here is a couple of pictures of a powered air reel that my brother and I built with various parts this fall. It probably cost around $400 for the winch, bearings, gears and air swivel. There is about 90 feet of 3/4 air hose on it. I think a commercial powered air reel would cost close to $2000. The winter weather caught us a bit as I was doing the finishing touches to it. We normally store it inside.

LOL...it's very nice, but I was expecting to see a homemade air reel for a flex header! Maybe you can tackle that next summer...

Really nice -- I've got a 2" one very similar for the back of our water truck for spraying -- wouldent be without it . From an old fuel truck .
