Does anyone know how to assemble the slide coupler I had a employee take it apart but doesn't remember how to put it back together

Looks like a Bondioli and Pavesi pto shaft. If it is go to their website. Scroll down to the Catalogue and product sheet section. Download the REPAIR MANUAL SERVICE 015 document. In there you will find repair procedures for all ther components. Good luck.

There is another outfit that makes almost identical shafts to bondioli and they are waltersheid -- think they might be made in the states ?

I had one of those on a mixmill and I hated it. Always needed to be pulled when u were pushing or pushed when u were pulling. When I changed the u joint I put one of the more common push pin style ones on.
