9682 12 speed manual

can anyone tell me that can you still get the second countershaft gear ptn 86020165 is see they make a complete shaft but im trying to cut costs down on the rebuild,
does anyone in australia have these 12 speed parts in stock, they seem to be very scarce

Pretty sure they upgraded the shaft to a one piece with all 4 gears on it. Also think they upgraded the upper cointershaft to have one gear as part of the shaft. What happens is the splines inside the gear and on the shaft wear and then the gears no longer mesh properly and it just gets worse from there on.
My advice is buy the upgraded parts because that gear will probably be loose on the shaft when you fit it and the next failure is not very far into the future.
