Not sure if the hydro is the same on the 9060, but we had one go out on our 2007 9070. It is a known problem to NH yet they figure it is better to let them blow up and then cost a pile of money rather than do the upgrade before it fails. Might want to check it out.

That is the main reason we went red. Yes, same company but we haven't had any problems at all.

Keep an eye on the return auger bottom bearings and also the main engine fan bearings. Other than that pretty handy machine. Our has done 1700 rotor hours and so far have been very happy with it. Ours has the cummins motor.

X2 we bought ours new and it has been a good machine did the Engine fan bearing at about the hrs you have now(they are special bearing). I think we have about 1000 sep hrs now a few other minor problems.

Good for you ty1500. I was at the auction and wanted to put my hand up for that one. And we don't need another combine! Should be good value for the money. Having only one yr on a NH rotor coming from years of Deere we are very happy with ours. Good luck.

thanks for all the replies, the more i learn now the better haha, but thanks hardpars i sure didnt go for the combine but for that price figured i couldnt go wrong i guess this cr9060 will replace our last 9600jd...went from three jd9600's to a lexion and newholland this year hope its a good move i know those 9600's have been **** good combines over the years but will have to wait and see... and hillbros yes its a question to ask before u purchase anything haha, but like i said earlier for the price i didnt want to let it go especially with the hours it only has and looked like it was kept up very well and hondaman it has a cummins engine i heard the down fall with them is harder on fuel? and lentilgrower and wafarmer75 would u guys recommend changing the engine fan bearing before we go into harvest or how big of a job is it to change if it gives out in the middle of harvest? couple hours? thanks everyone

We were down a day and a half when they went but most of the time was waiting for parts. I would just order a set to have then you would be going again in 3 hours. Check the bearings on the jack shaft that runs the rotary screen then seem to go often as well. We had to replace bottom sieve and one shaker arm broke too. Theres a spring that keeps the top chain tight on the clean grain elevator that breaks ocasionaly so have a couple of them around too.
