Anyone going to RB sale in Peace River April 5?

Have been unable to get any info about the CX combines at the April 5 Freeland holdings sale( any relation to Chrystia?) The owner is not involved with the sale, and the auctioneers still haven't received any info about service history etc.

Peace River is a long drive from here if it turns out to be for nothing. Anyone else going who has a few minutes to have a look at the CX8080 and CX8070?

No intentions of attending the sale but one has to wonder if there is a connection to yours truly given that I find she was indeed born in Peace River. Also what I presume motivated her to get into the career she did.

In doing a little more digging its a good chance the owner of the equipment is the brother of Chrystia's dad.

I wonder if it is safe to admit to being related to one of the current gang of criminals AKA the liberal party if you are from small town Alberta?

Bumping the thread up, in case anyone new happens to see it on their way to the sale...

Do any of the southern farmers on here think it unusual that it takes 4 combines, and only 1 tractor, air drill and sprayer in Peace River, probably almost the opposite ratio in Pallisers triangle areas?

I think it’s the same Freeland that owns DFI, it’s a company that does pile driving

In all likelihood, "freeland Holdings" would be Christia's Dad Donald. Don Freeland is/was a lawyer and farmer.

The current Premier here in Alberta has some cousins that live and farm near some of my uncles. They refer to her as there embarrassing cousin. Then everyone laughs, and we carry on.

Normal because harvest window is short in the north.

That tridrive body job with a tridem pup is interesting, not something I see often. What would be a legal load with that?

The tridem went for $80,000 and the pup went for $21,000
