Harvesting rice at the Satori farm (same on that used to have the Big Buds) in Palm Bay , FL in 2011, with now retired N6. Only time in my life I’ve ever got to harvest a large volume crop. I guessed to be 2000-2500 lbs per acre. It really opened My eyes as far as the capacity of the N6. Took me a while to get it set correctly, but it was pure clean grain in the hopper with zero trash and was losing nothing out the back. Running 0.6 to 1.0 mph with a 24’ table , I was filling the hopper in 20-25 min. I had no idea these machines would handle that kind of tonnage with dry grain. Had a few breakdowns, nothing unusual for 27 yr old rusted out combines... the plus side was that is polished the inside of the machine.... was a fun experience.
