When a 9500 has 10 series updates what all does it include?

Im not sure of all items but t start with, different feeder house shaft, Hi speed fan drive supposed,, Different air cleaner assembly, more horsepower, greenstar available I think, Different cornerpost, NOt sure about the rest. Basically its the same machine, just costs alot more for the extras.

shoe adjustments have sundial adjustment, cleaning shoe lights, FH dust fan, more cleaning fan rpm, dual display tach in cab, digital concave indicator, 13 bar concave, rear lighting package (might have been on 00 also)

this is the stuff you could buy from deere and add to a 00 series

As in folding bin auger? Nope, wa a 00 option

no, im talking about the loading vertical auger in the tank...we call it a bubble auger here, dunno if thats the technical term for it or not.

It doesn't sound like anything to tough to install is it worth buying a combine with it installed our buying one without and doing it yourself? How do they get the extra hp?

Buy a chip from Shoup, I did and its worth it. Deere uses different programing for their ECMs for more horspeower in the 10s.

I have been on the fence about the chip, Dave..seems as though you've pushed me over....again (on another upgrade)

I can pull my 96 down into the 2270 [rpm] range..without too much ground speed...If it's what you say, it ought to be "the thing" for me!

tx, 80 bushel wheat, and 6000 lb milo mine stays right on the govenor. so i would say a chip is worth it for a 9600. now the 9650 sts----thats a diff story have 30% over box and can pull it down some, but nothing like beforer
