Cutting beans tonight and the beans bunched up so I got out to look at the sickle and found that the auger was the problem. Auger drive sprockets turn but not the auger. Anyone know what to look for? Is the drive gear splined on the shaft or keyed? Thanks in advance.

Check the shaft, pull the sprocket and see if the fingers just flop around , if so then the shaft broke.
