Alright, If I'm maxing out my road speed in 3rd gear and all hydrostat adjustments have been checked and set, why am I stuck at 4.0 MPH in second without the mudhog on? I believe my first and second gear to be the same, which leads me to believe that when I go to second, the transmission is actually going back into first. 3rd is right and neutral is always neutral. The pin on the side of the transmission is all the way in for 3rd, all the way out while in 1st and second. Someone told me that the cable has to drop "down" there at the tranny to go into second, but I can't see anything happening... help!?!

On my old 1440 you had to get underneath and clean and lube up the cable to get it to work better. another thing was to start in 1st clutch and get it into 2nd while still moving. at times it was very hard to get in 2nd.
