Quote:Very nice looking combine, is that hydro motor on the rear left from the rear wheel drive? The 14 series have a sort of charm that the later machines have not, I can't explain it!!!

That's because all it says on the side is IH, it isn't tainted with case.

The combine had 3801 hrs when the motor blew. The corn head belonged to a neighbor of mine and he said i could have it when i bough my combine, it may look horrible but it didnt have 150 acres on it after a complete rebuilding, worked like a charm. I was goint to repaint the grain header this winter but i have no need to now, im gonna end up buying a Gleaner R-65, dont get me wrong i loved that combine and all IHC machinery, but the dealers in my area is so worthless, thats is forcing me to get away from International. Thanks for the comment on how nice it looked, i always try and keep all my machinery looking like new, and i did custom harvesting with that combine so before every job i washed it and touched up the wear spot with new paint to advertise i do a clean job, besides i like taking pride in my machinery. Thank you all very much for the comments.

That is one MAGNIFICENT looking machine. Ashame about the dealer support, but thats what I hear of Case Ih lately. I hear the Gleaners are nice machines too, but I wouldn't know, none around here. The others are right though, those old 14 series combines have alot of charm about them. Sounds like you treat that thing like my friends treat their trucks lol. Thanks for the pics.
