Should i change to large wires or pull some. also wondering about my header. was planning on running the polly milo guards and building a screen on the back adn sides but not sure about the reel. Any sugestions?

We use large wire concaves and solid grates, run the rotor around 300-350RPM, and slow the fan down to something like 850RPM (I think, I've slept since last fall). We also put the vanes over the concaves in Medium, and those over the grates in Slow to reduce losses. Open the concaves up a bunch, I think we had them at 7 last year. You'll want the heads to come out the back mostly whole, with no good seeds still in them. Some heads won't be filled all the way and the seeds in the middle will be really small, immature, and stuck pretty hard in the head. Don't bother trying to thresh those out as they aren't worth anything.

I don't use a platform for flowers, so I can't really help you there.
