Cutting beans today. Been running 6hrs. I get to the end and the steering is hard. Get turned around and the reel lift will not work. Go to unload and the auger will not swing out. Everything else works fine. We put a new $500 steering pump on this year. Dealer says its a flow control valve sticking. If you keep messing with it everything will go to working again for a few hours and repeat.

Have you solved this problem? We are having the same thing happening with our 1480 and going mad! Any advice would be great.

Have you checked the brass filter just before the valve body ?? it is in the supply line from the pump . Should be clean -- if metal particles are there pump is wearing out .
