How hard is it to replace the front rotor bearing on a 1640. Mine was running warm last year in beans and has a little movement in it when I check it with a pry bar. Any guesses on how long I might be able to run it without before it goes down completely? Thanks in advance for your input.

If you do not have chain binders just use racket straps and block the rotor as above. This is much quicker to do than you may think, you will change it in 1 hour

Thanks for the replies. Where are you attaching chains etc to the rotor? Down in the concave area or from the back end?
