My 1680 rotor is running at max rpm's but the display says 700 rpm. The machine is new to me and I don't know much about it. Is there a calibration issue or do I need to do something with the speed sensor and where is that located?

I also get a constant alarm (without the separator running) that goes away when I push in the clutch. Any ideas?

Sounds like the rotor is in low gear. Go to the right side of the machine and look up just forward of the radiator. There is an "L" handle. Push it in 2 notches. The middle notch is neutral. Or the limit stops could be set wrong after someone working on the machine. Or there could be dirt and stuff not allowing the motor to make any further adjustments. Or even, if it is in high range, someone after putting on a new belt or something, left the gear box moved to the right.
There is no calibration, but the sensor is on the font of the rotor under the cab.

The alarm could be a lot of things. Make it dark over the guages somehow and see if the amp light just flickers a bit. Low voltage or water in a connection or any other machine monitoring duties will set the alarm off.
