My dad said they really liked the air-foil chaffers years ago, except in certain conditions where it needed to be closed a bit. We were looking to put a new chaffer in the 2388 last year and the dealer had an adjustable one so we decided to try it. I think it works better than the 11/8 Cloz-slat that was in there, but we still have a hard time setting the machine right in wheat. It just doesn't seem to do as good of a job as our old combines.
