Looking to put a Draper Header on a '94 Case International 1688, any suggestions on Make, Model, Size, if its possible? We farm Wheat and Soybeans and I'm mainly looking for a better and more uniform feed control in Soybeans. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a Draper on a 1688, I've talked to a couple guys that have MacDon's on 2188's and I realize that both machines are similar but I want specifics if possible. Thanks.

Have run a 36' 1052 Macdon on a 1688. Runs great, easy to use. You only need ballast in the rear end if you don't already have it and the mounting bracket bolted to the feeder to attach the draper drive gear case. Reapt mostly beans, wheat and barley with it.

30’ 972 Macdon on a 1680. RWA and no fluid or weights on the rear. It is a little light on the back end tho. Had to turn the hydraulic pump pressure up to lift it. Soybeans & wheat. Works great. It’s a little heavy now for the mud we’re combing in now. If the 1680 had duals like the 2188 with the 36’ Macdon it would be better. Duals really help for keeping it more stable the wider the header is.
