I have a 1999 R72 and the AC does not seem like it blows very much volume. The vent by the buddy seat seems to blow a lot more air than the blowers on the sides. I was wondering if anybody knew why this was the case or how I can get more airflow in the cab? Thanks.

Your evaporator is probably plugged. Remove the cover on the box on the underside of cab and clean with compressed air or pressure washer. Easier to do if you take off header and put feederhouse down on the ground to make for more room. Be careful to not fold the fins over with pressure washer.

I think the seat vent hose is the shortest so it flows more. I was going to restrict it to force it to the other vents, but I cleaned the heater core and ac evaporator and it was so much better that I never bothered.

Buy a tub that the evaporator will fit in plus some. the evap can be dropped down into the tub without disconnecting. wash with soapy water and an air gun which sucks and blows fluid like solvent. You will be amazed at the crap. Found the tub with lid at Wal mart. Re the cover, thread 8 or 10-32 bolts from the top down and use nuts. Much easier to position and secure. Clean once a year whether it needs it or not. Life is to cool to be hot. Great deal on Amflo 220TD at ToolTopia.com
