We normally do not get 180-200 bu corn in our area.
Would like to get info on how to setup a 2388 for
high yield corn. what concaves, grates and sieves.
Pull wires ? or leave them in.
I have spec rotors, how many straight bars.
Any setups would be appreciated.

Thanks

What are you used to for yields? Shouldn't have to do any real adjustments to the machine for even a 50-70 bushel swing in yields. Speed up rotor a tick, little wider on the concave, crack the sieves a bit more, speed up the fan, and smile.

Unless its set up special for low corn yields (100 Bu. or less) you shouldn't have to do anything different than you otherwise would if your setting the combine based on corn moisture, cob size, and depending if the test weight is wild either way, fan speed. Might have to open sieves a bit more also.

Biggest thing that would change? Your ground speed.
